👋 Hi, I’m Ren.

Human-Computer Interaction Researcher and Computing Educator. I make pursuing STEM education more accessible and motivating for underserved students. My dissertation, Preparing Autistic Students for the AI Workforce, examines how computing education can better support autistic learners’ technical development, communication, and transition to employment.

My research connects computing education, accessibility, neurodiversity, and artificial intelligence. Current projects include predicting student achievement from digital learning traces in rural Uganda, developing AI workforce training that aligns with autistic adults’ motivations, and building containerized programming environments with AI tutors for scientific programming courses.
